1.  Do you supply any clothing?

We have a closet filled with vintage-inspired dresses that range in size from small to double XL.  In addition, we have high heels, hats, glasses and hair accessories for you to select from for your photo shoot.  We also highly recommend visiting Redemption Boutique located at 10709 124 Street NW in Edmonton to meet all your retro, alternative, pin-up & rockabilly style needs!

2.  What else should I bring to the photo shoot?

We encourage our clients to bring their own clothing as long as it fits the vintage theme.  We suggest you bring your garter belts, vintage underwear, corsets, crinoline, faux furs or stoles, pin-up costumes, bustiers, fishnets, thigh-high stockings, bathing suits, cardigans, pencil skirts, high heels and jewelry - anything vintage-inspired from the 1940's and 50's. We also invite our clients to bring any vintage props that have a sentimental value (ex: grandma's pearls, grandpa's war time hat, etc.).

3. What should I do to prepare for the photo shoot?

  • Come clean shaven.
  • Paint your nails.
  • Get a good night's rest.
  • Avoid any foods that may make you feel bloated on the day of the shoot.
  • Wear loose clothing on the day of the shoot to avoid markings on your skin.
  • Come with your hair clean and dry.
  • Come with a clean face, if you have skin sensitivities please bring your own foundation.

4.  How long is the photo shoot?

Hair and make-up can take up to an hour and half depending on the style you select. Depending on how many outfit and prop changes you choose, we like to take about a half hour for each change in the photography studio.
